Traditional Chinese Herbalism, like any other
field of life, is only a mystery when it is not understood.
Through trial and error, observation and clinical studies
people have found out what herbs do and how they work. In
more recent times herbs have been put to the rigors of western
scientific research. Many folk and herbal remedies have been
tested and found to be very beneficial -- sometimes much
to the amazement of western scientists.
In fact, Chinese Herbalism is a system based
on a very long history of empirical observation and on centuries
of clinical trial and error. Whether dealing with disease
or improving health, practitioners and nonprofessionals alike
have tested thousands of herbs throughout time and observed
their effects on the human body and mind. |

 |
Through countless years of use, the experience
and knowledge of herbs gradually have been recorded and passed
along, leading to Chinese Herbalism as it is practiced today.
Many of the important historical texts go back over 3,000
years. These texts provide detailed descriptions and illustrations
of hundreds of herbs, how to prepare them and their purpose.
Herbs are highly concentrated full spectrum food. Used properly,
herbs are indeed super-foods with highly concentrated nutritional
factors that accomplish specific things in the body, such
as increasing fertility, stopping the common cold, building
immunity, strengthening digestion, nourishing the adrenal
system or lowering cholesterol.
Using herbs is like using fertilizer on fruit trees. Without
the nutrition of fertilizer, the tree will not bear fruit.
Using the correct combination of herbs can increase fertility,
lower cholesterol, reduce prostate swelling, help you get
a better night's sleep and much more because they are supplying
the correct nutritional elements to produce these results.
It's not magic. It's science. |

The Chinese herbal extracts used in Radiant Wonder products
are produced in an FDA approved pharmaceutical grade state-of-the-art
GMP factory in Taiwan which uses the most modern scientific
processing methods of ensuring that all its products are
of the highest quality available. These herbs are imported
into the United States and made into formulations and packaged
by Howell Nutraceutical Corporation of Santa Monica, CA under
the trade name Radiant Wonder.
We are totally committed to producing superior quality products.
We are focused on obtaining the absolute best quality herbs
in the world for our formulations. Our products are of the
highest quality and made according to our specifications.
We are absolutely dedicated to ensuring our products are
of the highest quality available anywhere. This commitment
extends from the selection of herbs through the entire manufacturing
process. |
 |
|
 |
| The proper identification of plants is an important challenge
in the herbal products industry. Our suppliers meet this challenge
with an Identification Protocol Form (IPF) program. The IPF
includes macroscopic and microscopic examinations, as well
as Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC). In-house botanists in the
manufacturing facilities also help to ensure the accuracy of
these inspections. |
 |
|
 |
| After the herbs have been positively identified, they are
carefully washed and prepared in accordance with their individual
protocols. The herbs are then placed in a stainless steel extractor,
which implements a continuous rotary motion to thoroughly mix
the batch of herbs. The concentration of the extract is specified
by the volume of the herbs that are added. The temperature
and time are controlled during the process with absolute precision.
The extractor process includes a patented essential oil retrieval
system, which allows for the preservation of volatile oils,
which are reintroduced during a later phase of the production
process. |
|
 |

|
| When the extraction process is complete the herbs are transferred
directly into a low-temperature vacuum evaporation system.
The use of low- temperature extraction helps to preserve the
inherent potency of the herbs. |
 |
This process is completed in an air-tight chamber, eliminating
the risk of cross contamination. The flow coater sprays the
concentrate onto very small particles of base material such
as the powdered form of the herb itself. |
|
 |
| Each batch of every herb is tested to ensure the safety,
potency and consistency of our product. Standard in-house laboratory
procedures include microscopic examination, microbiological
assay and Gas Chromatography (GC), Thin Layer Chromatography
(TLC), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Atomic
Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and UV-Visible Spectrophotometry
(UV/ICP-MS). |
