Here’s the 411, vegetables are high-energy foods with lots of antioxidants. They are more alkaline than many of the foods we eat, so they help maintain the acid/alkaline balance necessary for enhanced fertility and Radiant Health. Modern diets are often calorie full and nutrient empty so adding vegetable juice to the diet will give the body a chance to seize nutrition it can utilize quickly. This will help to build nutrition-rich blood, optimizing fertility and a healthy pregnancy. On the other hand, when you eat only raw vegetables there is no guarantee that your body can extract the nutrition it needs. Your body does not have an enzyme with which to break down plant fiber (cellulose).
The ideal amount of vegetables recommended for consumption everyday is 1 pound per 50 pounds of body weight. Can you imagine how many salads that would be!?
Vegetable juicing can help you reach this goal, seeing as how it allows you to consume more vegetables than you normally would. Finding ways to increase your intake of vegetables is key for our Radiant Wonder Healthy Living Program.
We recommend 6 oz of juice with 2 oz of water once a day or at least 3 times a week. Once you start juicing, you’ll get so much of an energy kick that you’ll want to make this an everyday lifestyle.
Come up with a plan that works for your schedule and get a juicer that is easy to clean! Make sure to clean up immediately after juicing so that you’re not left with a gunky juicer. Juicing + cleanup should be no more than 10 minutes, assuming you have the right appliance.
